Bauchi State to Establish Gas Training Centre in the State

Bauchi State Government expresses willingness to establish gas training centre in the state.

Governor M.A Abubakar gave the indication in an audience with officials of Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) at Government house Bauchi.

He said the state is studying the viability of establishing a gas training centre in the state, hence the for cooperating with DPR which will enable the state meet the demand Bauchi in the energy sector.

Governor Abubakar also added that the state government is proposing a biofuel production unit in Bauchi in partnership with NNPC.

Earlier Speaking on behalf DPR, the operations Computroller Bauchi State, Salihu Garba says they are in government house to thanked the governor for the given to the DPR.

He said the 4 newly established offices,  Bauchi office was the first to start operating, earlier than anticipated.

Garba also thank Gov M.A for providing office and accommodation spaces for the DPR to enable quick commencement of operations.
