Bauchi State to pursue Admission from Higher Institutions to its indigenes

Bauchi State Government to pursue admission from higher institutions to the qualified indigenes of the State who applied for admission in 2017/ 2018 acedamic session.

The state government disclosed this through the Special Adviser to Bauchi State Governor  on students matters,  Comrade Najimudeen Abubakar.

In a statement by Personal Assistance to the S.A Students Affairs, M.Z Abdullahi issued Tuesday, August 29.


"The office of the special assistant to his excellency governor Muhammad Abdullahi Abubakar on students affairs, is hereby notifying all Bauchi State indigenes who possess all requirement for study at the University level and other higher institution of learning to forward their credentials for pursuant of admission in respective institutions of their choice".

He said the state deem it paramount to come up with this as part of it effort to ensure all youth in the secure admission into the higher institutions.

"This is inline with the state government strong desire to ensure that almost all youths in the state secure admission into the higher level of education of their choice with ease".

''The governor. M. A. Abubakar administration have a kin concern for educational development in the state and therefore the S. A advice all the youths to take advantage of this great opportunity" he added.

Comrade Abubakar explained that the documents should be submitted to his office located in Bauchi State Scholarship Board opposite Gwallaga Jumma'at Mosque.

''All documents should be submitted to the office of the S. A student's affairs C/o Bauchi  State Scholarship Board, opposite Gwallaga Jumma'at Mosque. Documents should be sealed in an envelope, labelled with name of applicant, programme of choice, LGA, and name of institution of choice''.
"Deadline for submission is two weeks from the date of this post''.

He note that " Candidates should know that submission of their credentials do not guarantee their admission in the respective institutions but the government will strive hard to ensure that admission is secured except if vacancy limit is exceeded''.
