The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Office of the Vice President, National Affairs will visit University of Maiduguri, Ramat Polytechnic, other tertiary institutions within the state.
This is contained in Statement issued by the Media Office of the Vice President of NANS, National Affairs Comrade Shettima Umar, said the union will visit the focus on condolance to University of Maiduguri over the recent Book Haram mayhem in the institution.
''The Vice President, Comr Shettima Umar alongside other students Union leaders will use that opportunity to also visit secondary schools within the state to ascertain the state educational sector, and also condole the students and management of Unimaid for their steadfastness towards their respective obligations despite the insurgency''.
The statement added that the Vice President will address the press to brief the nation on the outcome of the tour
''After which a Press Conference will be organized to brief the Nation on the outcome of the campus acesment tour''.
''You may recall that the Vice President went on the same campus accesment tour within NANS Zone 'A', Bauchi, Gombe and Kano State respectively, and this time around it would be Borno in Zone 'C'.
