National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS will shutdown activities in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja with peaceful protest on lingering strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU.
The Association disclosed this in a statement signed by Vice President National Affairs, Comrade Shettima Umar said the protest will commence Tuesday, August 5.
"By tomorrow, Nigerian students will shutdown Abuja until the Federal Government and Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) settle their dispute for the interest of Nigerian students''.
He said NANS will converge in Unity fountain by 10:00am.
"Join us at Unity Fountain tomorrow by 10:00am in solidarity to NANS''.
