To prevent malaria, pregnant women should:
Visit a nearest health facility where she can get antimalarial drugs recommended by Health governing bodies
Ensure that environment and surroundings with the house are kept clean
Sleep under a long lasting Insecticide Treated Net throughout the pregnancy.
A pregnant woman should go to the nearest Health if she notice the following symptoms.
- Fever
- Shivering
- Headache and Joint pain
- Stomach pain
- Vomiting
- Dizziness
- Difficulty in breathing
- Dehydration
- Convulsion
- Loss of Appetite
By doing these would our community to reduce maternal mortality
